Supporting this event will help to make a difference in the lives of prisoners that will last for eternity. The needs around us are great and our prison population is swelling to over 2.2 Million inmates here in the United States. The national average cost of incarceration is $45,000.00 annually with some facilties costs being over $135,000.00. Our rate of recidivism is nearly 70%. Lasting change comes from regeneration by God the Father through his Son Jesus Christ. II Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creation, Old things have passed away, behold all thing are become new. Jesus said in Matthew's gospel "I was in prison and you visited me." Those who surrender to God's word are being changed.
